K9 Brutus

Companion Dog

Brutus is a beautiful German Shepherd with excellent lines who started down the path of police K9 work but ultimately showed us that he’s better suited for a different role. While he has the foundation and ability, Brutus views everything as a game and thrives when training feels like fun. He has IPO/IGP training experience, giving him a solid obedience and working foundation.

Brutus naturally prefers the company of men, though he can bond with women as well given time and patience. With his drive, intelligence, and playful outlook, he would excel as a sport prospect or as an active family companion in the right home.

Dual Purpose

K9 Church

Church is a 2-year-old Bull Herder with carefully selected genetics and a 10/10 drive—bred with one goal in mind: to work the streets. At first glance, his presence is intimidating, but once you get on the field with him, you’ll see a dog who is fair, intensely driven, and highly intelligent. Church is a powerhouse partner best suited for an experienced handler ready to harness his full potential.

Dual Purpose

Bjorn is the newest member of the Iron Roots K9 program. At just 16 months old, he already shows tremendous potential as a dual purpose prospect. Highly attuned to his handler’s body language, Bjorn works with focus and a genuine desire to please. Suitable for both green and experienced handlers, he will be available in the coming months after he’s taught a few key fundamentals.
